A recent article on the use of social media by lawyers appeard in the NY State Bar Association publication Inside titled: Social Media and Attorney Ethics, There’s an App for That By Natalie Sulimani.  Sulimani offers an overview of the benefits and pitfalls of social media use by attorneys and reviews a number of ethics opinions issued by the NYS Bar Association, the NYC Bar, and the NY Trials Lawyers.  Social media is increasingly the place to meet people and it needs to be done right in order to avoid ethical conflicts.
